What a nomination does, and does not
- It records that a fanbase is already waiting for them here, under their name.
- It costs nothing. Pledging kudos to them is a separate step, on their nomination page, and you can take those back until they claim.
- It does not rank them. Nothing reaches the board until the creator proves the channel is theirs.
- It is not a promise. Anyone nominated can ask us to remove them.
YouTube creators claim their page by signing in with Google. Everywhere else the creator messages us a one-time code from that account, or on Facebook adds it to their Page's Intro, and we confirm it, so that takes another visit. Either way, the creator has to do it — a nomination on its own never puts anyone on the board, and the only person likely to tell them it is here is you.
Is it your own channel?
Then do not nominate yourself — list it. You prove you control the channel and it goes on the board straight away, under a page you own and edit.
